Founded by Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson, The Alan Parsons Project is renowned for releases like Tales of Mystery and Imagination (1976) and Eye in the Sky (1982). Parsons, celebrated for engineering Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon and The Beatles’ Abbey Road, brings his production expertise to the stage. The 2025 lineup features Alan Parsons on acoustic guitar, keyboards, and vocals, joined by lead vocalist P.J. Olsson, keyboardist Tom Brooks, bassist Guy Erez, guitarist Jeff Kollman, drummer Danny Thompson, saxophonist/percussionist Todd Cooper, guitarist Dan Tracey, and violinist Tyson Montgomery Leonard. Expect classics like “Eye in the Sky,” “Time,” and “Sirius,” the Chicago Bulls’ theme, alongside tracks from Parsons’ solo work, such as From The New World (2022).
The show blends intricate arrangements with a laser light display. Recent performances, like the October 2024 Milwaukee show, featured a tight setlist of hits, the band’s vocal precision and instrumental excellence. The concert typically runs 1 hour and 52 minutes, starting 1 hour and 18 minutes after doors open at 7:00 PM. Multiple vocalists, including Olsson, Cooper, and Kollman, add dynamic variety, while Leonard’s violin and Cooper’s saxophone elevate tracks like “I Robot.” Despite Parsons’ recent back surgery, he's assured fans that he'll be up there on stage with the same energy that he's kept throughout his entire caree.
